Refreezing
Temperatures rose yesterday above freezing, causing some of the snow from this past weekend to melt. Unfortunately, temperatures are again dropping this morning back into the 20s, resulting in a refreeze, creating new iceing conditions of roads, overpasses, bridges, and sidewalks, mailng today another good day to just stay in. According the the local weather service, this condition is going to repeat itself through Christmas day.

yep, goes with the territory...so yu guys not used to snow? i'm not sure where yu are....
@tialoca_talks - OUr annual snowfall averages about 3-4 inches for the whole season, spread across maybe 2 snows. We only ger dumped on like this only once very 10-12 years. The last time was in 1996, although we did get an 8" fall in 1998. Since then almost nothing, so this 24 incher is a big deal for us. I must say that the local authorities have done a pretty good job with the cleanup -- better than usual.
Yuck. Hope it thaws out soon for you.
yu are fortunate...we deal with a bit more snow (average 8-12 inches i believe, but get it all at once usually) and our morons can't seem to figure it out...hahahaha

@DarthPatriot - Yes it is a reference to Atlas Shrugged.
